My favorite home remedy to make dry and dull hair prettier is by applying a mixture of mustard oil and lemon juice on my scalp and hair lengths and rinsing it off after an hour or so. Love following this routine once in a fortnight to keep my hair strong and shiny. An added bonus of this is that it also gets rid of dandruff effectively!

My best tried and tested remedy to beat dry, dull hair is : my special hot oil treatment mix. Steps to follow are:
1. Mix 1 part coconut oil, 1 part olive oil, 1/2 part almond oil and 1/2 part castor oil.
2. Warm the mixture till all oil comes in a single consistency.
3. Let the mixture cool down a bit and apply on scalp and all hair strands while still lukewarm.
4. Wrap a hot towel around your hair and leave it for 15-20 mins.
5. Shampoo as per your convenience.
You can make the oil mixture in large batch and store it as well. Also you can leave the oil in hair overnight for more nourishment.
