Neutrogena Oil-Free Moisture Combination Skin Review

Hello my beautiful friends,

Today I am going to review one of my favorite skin care products, which is Neutrogena Oil-Free Moisture for combination skin. This brand is awesome, when it comes to products that are specifically designed for combination and oil skin. They just nail the formula and give amazing quality and very pocket friendly products. I have combination skin, which gets oily in humid monsoon season.

So last monsoon season, when I ran out of my usual moisturizer, I decided to try something new. I had heard a lot about Neutrogena oil-free moisture as best moisturizer for oily skin. So I wanted to buy this moisturizer from a very long time and got perfect excuse for buying. This moisturizer is perfect for oily skin as well as combination skin as it claims. It feels very light on skin and keeps the oil at bay.

Packaging, Texture and Fragrance:

Neutrogena Oil-Free Moisture Combination Skin ReviewI found the packaging quite different from other moisturizers I have used so far. Usually they come in squeezable tubes. This moisturizer comes in a white cardboard box which is very simple and elegant. The product itself is housed in a pump dispenser bottle, which is white in color and information is printed in black and other colors.

The quality of the packaging is impressive; it looks like they have worked on packaging too. To get hold of the product I have to twist the pump, then the product comes out of the bottle and after usage twist back the pump and it gets locked, in this way the product does not get oxidized due to outside moisture. I really liked the packaging. It’s very simple and sleek.

The texture of the product is amazing. It is white in color but not like pearl white. The texture is very lightweight; it does not feel heavy on skin like you have put some weight on the skin. The texture is soft and non-greasy. Just one pump is enough to cover your whole face and neck. That’s it.

As the product claims, it does not have any fragrance and yes it has nonexistent fragrance, which is a good thing. The only aroma you will get is when you will apply it; even that fragrance is very light and instantly fades away after application.

My Experience with Neutrogena Oil-free Moisture for Combination Skin:

I am really happy with this product and the quality is mind blowing. It didn’t disappoint me. It controls oil secretion and works as a primer because many times I don’t feel like using primer and moisturizer. So, I use this, it keeps my face moisturized and does not make my makeup look dry or flaky. It provides enough moisturization to skin. It brightens up the face and gives matte effect. It keeps the skin clear too.

It spreads very quickly and covers the whole face and instantly gets absorbed in skin within seconds, blink your eyes couple of times and it is all gone. It gives matte effect and it lasts whole day.

Neutrogena Oil-Free Moisture Combination Skin ReviewSo even though, it is best moisturizer for oily skin with all these good qualities, the flip-side is it does not contain SPF; where in the market a lot of moisturizes come with built-in SPF nowadays. The other flip-side to this oil-free moisture by Neutrogena is, it does not provide enough moisturization in winters. Even though I have combination skin, I have to apply another layer of heavy moisturizer over it to keep my skin hydrated.

But still having combination skin, I like the fact, the product does not clog pores, which is a very good thing and does not feel heavy on skin at all. This product has not caused any kind of skin irritation or allergy till date. Neither has it broken me out. As having combination skin, I have large pores and also face acne issues sometimes. But using this moisturizer saves me from all these issues.

While many people find Neutrogena oil-free moisture for combination skin to be a bit pricey, I find this moisturizer pocket-friendly, mainly because it lasts long and really works to give you and maintain healthy looking, glowing skin in all seasons.

Pros:

-It is pocket friendly.

-It is suitable for combination skin as well as oily skin.

-It makes skin soft and supple.

-It moisturizes the skin and keeps it oil free and gives matte effect.

-The texture is very soft, lightweight and non-greasy.

Cons

-Does not have SPF.

– contains paraben.

 R2B Rating: 4.5 /5

Overall Take:

For me, Neutrogena oil-free moisture for combination skin is an amazing product and I would recommend it to all ladies, who have combination or oily skin like me. This product caters all the needs of combination and oily skin, doesn’t clog pores, provides enough moisture and brightens up the face. The packaging is elegant and easy to carry around. The moisturizer keeps the skin soft and supple and does not make it oily or cause acne. It is fragrance free. It is best moisturizer for oily skin skin and I will definitely buy this product again for sure.
