If you think the high SPF is just the hype, think again. Recent research has proved that a sunscreen with a high SPF number is better able to protect skin from UV-B rays than one with a low SPF. And according to dermatologists in sweltering summers like these, people must stick with sunscreens marked SPF of 30 or higher.
So if you are planning to spend some great time outdoor for holidays, make sure you use a good sunscreen with high SPF to protect your skin from the harsh rays of the sun. True, finding a sunscreen that matches your skin tone and suits your skin is one of the trickiest things to do. And let me confessI do have my share of bad experiences with bad sunscreens until I found Lotus Herbals Daily Multi-function sunblock SPF 70.
Despite, the entire rave about the goodness of Lotus sunscreens in the market, I somehow couldn’t settle with any of them. I have normal fair skin that tends to become oily in summers. So while, some sunscreens would make me look like a painted doll with their white cast, a few matte and tinted versions would make me look dark and ugly.
Fortunately for me, when Lotus Herbals launched their Lotus Herbals Daily Multi-function sunblock SPF 70 with a hint of foundation, I instantly fell in love with the product. Using the product since last one year with great results, read the review to discover more about this lotus sun block, may be you too find your perfect sunscreen in this lotus delight.
My Experience with Lotus Herbals Daily Multi-function sunblock SPF 70
The best thing I like about this sunscreen is that it is light weight and paraben free. It comes in a bright orange color tube packaging with a flip open cap. It has a creamy consistency that feels soft and velvety on the skin. The slight yellow tinge in this sun block not just evens out complexion but also instantly brightens the skin.
I have no clue what fragrance it is, but it is definitely something that is mild and pleasant to the olfactory nerves. It contains carrot and avocado extracts that keeps skin smooth and prevent it from drying and wrinkling. Add to this the power of high SPF 70 to prevent skin tanning and you have perfect sunscreen for Indian summers.
It neither seems too greasy and nor too matte on the skin. It lasts for more than a couple of hours and needs reapplication after sweating or washing. I really like the strong sun protection it offers my skin along with the added bonus of making my skin soft and dewy.
