Review of Hair Sanjeevani hair Loss shampoo and oil

Hair loss has never been a sexy conversation starter.

Yet, hair loss happens.

It happens to me. It happens to you. It happens to everyone. At least once in a while.

And usually around this time of the year and during the monsoons, my hair simply gets into a kind of frenzy. It’s everywhere. In the drain, on my pillow, tangled to my comb. My home becomes a city of lost hair strands.

Repeating every year, the scenario has become so familiar to me that it no longer scares me. After years of trying different treatments, products, shampoos and tonics, at least now I know what works for me and what doesn’t (though there’s a lot out there that hasn’t worked for me).

Since this blog post is about the stuff that has worked for me, I’ll take you straight to this day’s review without further ado.

Not much. It’s effective. But it’s not extraordinary either. If you’re suffering from male/female pattern baldness, the products may not work for you. Else, the only major con I’ve found about this pack is its price and availability.

Would I purchase/repurchase?
Yes. It’s really good for the hair.

Do you need it?
Yes, if you’re suffering from hair fall, thinning hair, chemically damaged hair, premature greying of hair or looking to speed up your hair growth, you’ll definitely benefit from this pack.
Also, if you’re looking for a good SLS free shampoo, hair sanjaveeni mild detox shampoo is a worthy try.

My take and experience of the products?

Hair Sanjivani mild detox shampoo
It’s not the first time I’ve used an SLS free shampoo. I’ve used chemical-free formulas from premium brands read Forest Essentials, Kama Ayurveda etc. before also, and to be honest with great results.
So I can’t sing the song of Hair Sanjivani mild detox shampoo as the only formula that has given me wonderful results. Yet at the same time, it has in no way disappointed me like numerous other so-called SLS free formulas that just dry out the strands or are poor cleansers in the name of hair loss and chemical-free formulas.
The rust-coloured shampoo has a runny consistency and a cough syrup-like smell. But it lathers well and cleans the scalp and hair quite effectively removing all traces dirt, dust, grime, sebum and gunk. My scalp feels clean, doesn’t itch and the flakiness which I was seeing around my hairline is all gone.
My strands don’t feel that dry either, which always happens whenever I use any anti-dandruff shampoo or a hair loss formula. This is a great plus point for me because I have frizzy hair and finding that perfect combination that works on my roots while moisturizing my strands is a real pain in the ass!
But thankfully, this shampoo has worked for me. I use it mostly on my roots and leave it in for a couple of minutes to let it work before rinsing it off. My hair and scalp both feel great after using this stuff.
As for the medicinal scent, I’m glad it doesn’t linger for long after wash.

Hair Sanjeevani Therapeutic Oil
The oil too is reddish in colour and has a mild herbal medicinal scent. But unlike the shampoo, the oils smells more herbal than medicinal. It has a thicker consistency but it spreads easily and gets absorbed swiftly into the roots.
So despite being on the thicker side, it’s not greasy and sticky. Unlike, most thicker formulas that tend to weigh down on the strands, this oil doesn’t make me feel like my hair is loaded with pounds of grease!
Another bonus is it washes off easily without leaving any residue. Hair are left feeling squeaky clean, shiny and well-nourished.

Effectiveness
As for the effectiveness of the regime, I’m happy to state, I am sold!
The results are great. I could notice a little lesser hair fall in first wash itself. Three weeks later, dandruff and flakiness completely gone. It’s almost eight weeks now, I am using the regime diligently and must say my hair fall has drastically reduced, almost to normal now. My hair feels stronger, softer, and have a natural sheen to them, which I’m loving greatly.
About hair regrowth, I’ve yet to witness that. No noticiable change in that department. But most importantly, it has controlled my hairfall and stopped the breakage, which is a big thing for me.

So on the bottomline, I recommend this kit to anyone looking to stop hair fall, reduce breakage or improve hair quality using natural formula. Hair care products take time to work but if you are patient and consistent, the kit is worth the time and money.

R2B Rating: 4/5
