As for me, it has gotten hella busy right at the start with pending posts from 2017, which I stealthily moved to the New Year considering a carefree way to enjoy my Christmas holidays! So I owe you guys a lot of reviews. And I’m counting tally beginning with this new hair conditioner I received from St. Botanica.

St.Botanica Moroccan Argan Oil Hair Conditioner ReviewFrankly putting, I’ve really got lucky with this hair conditioner. For as long as I can remember, I’ve used shampoos and hair conditioners only from Dove and L’Oreal. And as much as I adore these brands, I found that my hair was getting used to the same stuff. To mix and change things up a little bit, I wanted to branch out and try some other shampoo and conditioners.

Just then, I received this Moroccan Argan oil conditioner from St. Botanica and I’m happy to state it faired just so well with me. How? Read on to discover.

What is it?

Hair conditioner to restore the moisture and luster of hair lost n shampooing and blow-drying. The hydrating and nourishing formula absorbs into the hair follicles, repairing and protecting it from styling heat and the sun’s UV rays.

Botanical extracts and essential oils enhance the health and appearance of your hair, including its length, color and texture. St.Botanica argan oil conditioner strengthens hair shafts, preventing breakage and frizz as it nourishes. The color-safe formula is also safe for all hair types and the gentle, appealing scent wafts around you as you give your hair some conditioning love.

What’s in it?

Purified Water, Glycerine, Cetyl Alcohol, Cetrimonium Chloride, Cetostearyl Alcohol, Dimethicone, Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride, Hydroxyethyl Cellulose, Behentrimonium Chloride, Citric Acid, Amodimethicone, D Panthenol (Vitamin B5), Vitamin E Acetate, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Moroccan Argan Oil, Avocado Oil, Wheat Protein, Olive Oil, Silk Protein, Fragrance.

What’s not in it?

Parabens, sulfates, and mineral oil.

Who is it for?

Both men and women can use this. Great for most hair types including, dry, rough, thin, fragile, mature, color or chemically treated hair. However, if you have particularly damaged or oily hair, you might be better off with special mask or no conditioner at all in case of excessive oily hair.

It has moisturizing argan oil, avocado oil, olive oil, wheat protein, silk protein and antioxidant Vitamin B5, Vitamin E to moisturize, strengthen, and repair hair. It is completely free from any harsh ingredients like mineral oil, parabens and sulfates.

I particularly loved its fragrance, which to me is fresh, fruity, young and invigorating. Another thing I really liked about this conditioner is unlike most heavy conditioners, it doesn’t leave any film behind or weigh down on hair. It makes my hair feel full, light, shiny, and bouncy.

The end result is fresh, glossy hair with volume.

What’s not so good about it?

Hefty price tag! At INR 999 for 300 ml, St.Botanica moroccan argan oil conditioner is indeed pricey, when compared to other drugstore herbal brands.

How do you use it?

I use it like a regular hair conditioner – apply a dime sized amount on the ends of my hair after shampoo, wait for a minute or two and then rinse it off.
