Today, she is reviewing one of the most raved makeup products of the year – Maybelline The Nudes Eye Shadow Palette. Over to Bhawna –
Hello Peeps!
How are you all?
As you all know, Maybelline is one of the well known Makeup brands in India. They have launched many products in the last few years and all of them have created a revolution in the makeup industry. So, today I am going to be reviewing an Eye shadow Palette by Maybelline.
Price: 899 INR (but I got it for 719 INR from Nykaa Diwali Sale Yayyyy!!)
Quantity: 9.6 gm
Ingredients:
My experience: Maybelline The Nudes Eye Shadow Palette is my first eye shadow palette that I have ever bought. It comes in a Black Plastic packaging with transparent lid through which all the colors are visible. It has 12 shades which I think are perfect for Indian Skin Tones. It comes with a brush which has applicator on one side and a brush on the other. From gold to neutral browns to black, this palette can be used for creating many different eye looks like using shade no. 1, 3, 4 and 12, you can create perfect Smokey eye look while shade no. 1, 6 and 7 are perfect for festive gold eye makeup look.
Pigmentation: Coming to the pigmentation, some of the shades are pigmented, soft and creamy while some of them (like 1 and 11) are bit chalky and difficult to work with. Some colors need multiple swipes to really show up on your eye crease.
Longevity: For the Longevity, it lasts for 2 to 3 hours without primer and I think with primer it may last for up to 5 to 6 hours.
Pros:
- Pretty packaging
- Travel friendly
- Can be used every day for creating different soft and Smokey looks
- Long lasting
- Ideal for beginners
Cons:
- Some of the shades are not pigmented and bit chalky.
- No mirror
Rating: 3/5
Would I recommend?
Yes, but only if you are a beginner. Otherwise you can go for other eye shadow palettes with better pigmentation and longevity.
