When it comes to facial cleansers, I’m very picky. For me a perfect face wash should lather well, be free from sulfates, not drying and should leave the skin squeaky clean. For a long time I had been a drug store skincare product snob and here is my list of ten drug store face washes that I find to be really good and effective.
But since my skin is behaving super sensitive and also showing early signs of melasma, I decided to go all natural this time and picked BioBloom Natural Face wash – Green Tea.
Here is what the brand says about this natural face wash:
“Enriched with the goodness of Green Tea, Aloe Vera & Lavender Flower, this natural face wash helps in formation of scar tissue. It is a powerful natural moisturizer and seals off loss of moisture. The natural antioxidants and collagen, enhance skin cell renewal.
This face wash provides the correct skin balance and rejuvenates the skin.”
- 95% Natural Ingredients
- No Parabens
- No Sulphates
- No Petrochemicals
- No Heavy Metals
After reading this product description and key features, unsurprisingly I was tempted to try this face wash. So here comes the review after using the face wash for two weeks.

My Experience with BioBloom Natural Face Wash – Green Tea
The cleanser comes in a transparent plastic pump bottle with a golden cap.
Packaging is really plush and the product looks luxe and expensive. The inside cleanser is dark brown in color with a runny consistency. Only two pumps are sufficient for your entire face and neck.
Now coming to the fragrance, the strong herbaceous scent of this all natural cleanser is literally a treat to the senses. Those of you, who like organic and natural scents, will find its woody aroma infused with notes of lavender amazingly dreamy and decadent.
Since the cleanser does not lather exceptionally well, I use my Proactive deep cleansing facial brush along with this face wash. And the simple act of washing my face turns into a mini trip to the spa! It is like rubbing the goodness of green tea into my skin while removing dead skin cells in a sensational aromatic spa.
Along with effectively cleansing the skin, this natural face wash also nourishes and rejuvenates the skin with its Green Tea, Aloe Vera, and Lavender flower extracts.
Pros:
- All natural and organic ingredients
- Free from all harmful chemicals like sulphates, parabens, and petrochemicals.
- Suitable for all skin types and perfect for sensitive skin
- Effectively removes dirt and oil without drying the skin
- Hydrates and nourishes the skin
- Amazing organic scent
- Rich and decadent packaging
Cons:
- Pricey and not easily available in local drugstores
- Does not lathers well
R2B Rating: 4/5
Overall Take:
Overall, it’s a good natural face wash that effectively cleans the skin without drying. What makes this cleanser special is the fact it is all natural and free from any harmful chemicals.
Suitable for all skin types, it is a boon for sensitive and dry skinned beauties. Although, this organic face wash is on the higher price range, given the quantity in the bottle and amount required, it is worth its price.
Plush packaging and decadent scent makes this natural face wash a great gifting option.
