best-sunscreen-for-Indian-skin-in-spring-summer-2015Every season is sunscreen season, right? But let’s confess girls, we only get serious about applying sunscreen, when the weather begins to heat up! Isn’t it? And now when the spring sun has started to bite, we all have become obsessed with finding the best sunscreen.

As a beauty blogger, I get a lot of queries and concerns about sunscreens. “Which is the best sunscreen for Indian skin”? “What is the best sunscreen for oily skin”? “Which sunscreen should I use to prevent tanning?” “Do sunscreens really work in preventing skin darkening and aging?” “What are the best sunscreens this season and blah blah blah!”

There are so many questions about picking the right sunscreen because most sunscreens in the market either do not work or contain greasy formulas that cause breakouts and allergic reactions. In addition, physical sun blockers that contain chemicals like oxy benzone also harm the skin.

Luckily, the good news is there are now a new generation of sunscreens that do not cause breakouts, white-cast, overtly shiny face, or a downpour of harmful chemicals on your precious facial skin. You can seamlessly apply these sunscreens over, under or as your makeup! Best part, they are safe and effective.

  1. Great Compilation! I love the Vichy and La Roche-Posay sunscreens for summer time 🙂

  2. thanks for the list dear…last summer i tried the lakme and the VLCC ones and unfortunately none of the two suited my super sensitive skin… 🙁 I just hope and at least one of the other will suit me….currently I am using a sunscreen by Clinique with SPF 40 but that’s a pricey one.
