Vaseline Total Moisture Cocoa Glow Body Lotion ReviewWith temperatures dipping day by day outside, it’s tempting to turn your quick morning showers into long hot water bathing rituals. But as tempting and relaxing hot steam baths feel on the body, they are harsh and harmful to skin. Within just 10 minutes of a steaming bath, the heat from the hot water start ripping your skin’s lipid barrier or the precious layer of moisture.

So does that mean you compromise on your pleasure by turning down the heat or shortening your bath time? If you ask me, I hate compromising for things that make me feel great! And why should I do that, especially when there are so many good replenishing body lotions out there in the market! So while, the weather outside and steam inside your bath can be harsh to your skin, your soap and body lotion shouldn’t be.

Since, foaming bar soaps can be drying, use creamy body washes or moisturizing bars like Dove instead. And almost immediately after bathing, apply a rich moisturizing body lotion all over your damp body skin to seal in the lost moisture and deeply nourish the skin from within. I swear by Vaseline Cocoa Glow body lotion to soothe my winter skin and keep it soft and supple, when there isn’t much moisture in air.

Cocoa butter is a boon for dry skin and a real treat for the senses with its amazing chocolaty nutty aroma. It is an occlusive emollient and also helps prevent the occurrence of wrinkles and stretch marks, while keeping the skin soft and supple. Now whether this cocoa glow body from Vaseline contains the real cocoa butter or not, it does makes my skin look and feel ultra-soft, super smooth, silky, and supple. No wonder, it is my HG body lotion for winters.

And the best part about this Cocoa glow Vaseline body lotion is that along with keeping my skin well moisturized and nourished, the delicious chocolaty cum vanilla aroma of this body lotion adds to the pleasure of my decadent steam bath experience in winters. You must be thinking, such a long introduction for a mere body lotion! But this one certainly deserves a lavish post! Now read review to discover why Vaseline cocoa glow is my HG winter body lotion and best body lotion for dry skin.

My Experience with Vaseline Total Moisture Cocoa Glow Body Lotion Review

When it comes to treating dry skin, Vaseline sure is a leader. Apart from their omnipresent, omnipotent, and omnipopular  petroleum jelly, they have the most marvelous range of body lotions for different seasons and different skin concerns that you can blindly pick any lotion from their range as per the season or your skin type and expect wonderful results. And that too at the fraction of a price!

Isn’t their superior quality a reason enough to try? And their reasonable price range make them must try body lotions! So if you haven’t tried any of Vaseline body lotions yet, it is a good time to try one of their best body lotions for dry skin, i.e., Vaseline Total Moisture Cocoa Glow Body Lotion. This body lotion comes in a travel friendly dark brown plastic bottle with a flip open cap.

It is off white in color and has a creamy consistency like any good body cream. A whiff of its chocolate mixed vanilla aroma and I feel in trance! Although, the yummy fragrance fades away in some time, it does fill you with a feeling of true indulgence and pampering treatment. The lotion gets absorbed into the skin the quickly, leaving you with a feeling of irresistible softness and a tempting aroma on it.

Despite, being richly moisturizing and deeply nourishing lotion, this Vaseline body lotion in no way feels greasy or sticky on the skin after applying. If you too have extremely dry skin like me in winters that begins to stretch and feels scaly shortly even after applying a body lotion after bath, try this Vaseline cocoa glow body lotion and notice the drastic change in your skin!

I use it regularly after bath and my skin feels soft and looks silky even hours after application. It is indeed the best body lotion for dry skin.

very apt review Anshulika… could you make a comparison between the three versions of Vaseline Total Moisture available in the market, is it that just the scent is different or they really are for different weather?

Hello Vish; all the three are specifically suitable for different skin types and weather. Very soon will do the comparison post for all three variants. Stay tuned.
